Influences

For this project I have been mainly influenced by mine free time interest in sports cars such as : Ford Mustang GTR . And i thought that would be a good idea to include in this project as is my chosen theme was transport.

During my research I stared of by looking at some famous or well know graphic designers for inspiration.

I have came across few well knew know graphic designers such as: Milton Glaser

Milton Glaser

Is one of the most famous and best know American Graphic Designers of 20th century. M. Glaser is one of the best know designers who's behind most of the famous/ popular icons of the decade including the ‘’ I LOVE NEW YORK’’ campaign for the New Your Department of Commerce as well hes well known in particular numerous big scale of advertising posters that could be found in New York main streets as well as fabulous designs for record covers and soup cans that can be found in any shopping centre in New York.

Developmental Work

For this project I have stared of with sketching out random drawings which represent movement in different ways such as; different direction of lines as well as the fast or slow line movement or variety off tones or high-lights to show movement.

After doing my research and focusing on the main aspects off movement I have come up with an idea off drawing cars which is a good example, because it does counts as transport which represents movement (speed) as well as I have been inspired by animated car games such as;

‘’Midnight Club/ LA’’ which is one of the quite popular car games at this moment/ wallpapers or pictures and in most off my drawing I try to use similar style off or technique of drawing.

New Project

For this project I will be working on how graphic designers show movement in the work, as expressionism of movement to make there designs look eye-catching and appealing to the public or different variety of audience. By using effective speed of lines and different tone as well as highlights.
For my extended project I am aloud to choose my own theme that interests me the most and which is based on movement as well as this new project allows me to focus from designer’s point of view and improve my designers skill for the future.
